Well January has been a busy month for Incubation Nation CIC. We saw our newest intake of 19 Women In Business start our 8 week Business Bootcamp and we also won an award!
Women’s Empowerment: Samantha Poole from Incubation Nation CIC
The awards, which were hosted by Events Together, took place on 12 January at Kettering Conference and Exhibition Centre.
My passion for Women’s Empowerment comes from the difficulty of starting over after children, divorce, relocation, and health issues. It is crucial to provide women with more funding for coaching to help them overcome their lack of confidence and get back on the ladder to success!
Women’s empowerment has five components: women’s sense of self-worth; their right to have and to determine choices; their right to have access to opportunities and resources; their right to have power to control their own lives, both within and outside the home; and their ability to influence the direction of social change to create a more just social and economic order, nationally and internationally.
During 2023, 50 more women will complete an 8 week Business bootcamp and have access to weekly meet-ups to help them grow their businesses.
We were surrounded by lots of amazing change makers and the night was so inspirational.
